What is your definition of intelligence?

I believe we can’t define this word ‘Intelligence’ by just test scores.

Because all people who study well are not smart.

I think people who receive high scores are someone who can learn or memorize well.

People always have to make decisions differently depend on situations.

To do this, we have to understand each situation correctly and rightly.

To decide rightly, sometimes we ask to someone intelligent like parents, friends or professors.

Why are they intelligent?

Because they have much more experience than us.

As a result, reading various books, conversing with various people, going on a trip to a foreign country, and so on can help us to be like them.

But, there’s not just one way to know how intelligence; everybody is smart in a different way.

요즘 세상은 숫자로 사람을 평가하곤 한다.
수능 점수, 학과 학점, 토익 점수,,
누군가에 좋은 평가를 얻기 위해서 사람들은 얼마나 많은 시험을 치루고 스트레스를 받아 왔던가.
나는 그런 사람들의 흐름에 발 맞추어 달리고 싶지 않았다.
나는 똑똑한 사람, 영리한 사람보다는 지혜로운 사람, 현명한 사람이 되고 싶다.

우리가 말하는 똑똑함. 영리함. 에 대해 어떻게 정의를 내리고 살아간다면,
지혜로운, 현명한 사람이 될 수 있을까?

글을 다시 쭉 읽으며 정리를 하다 보니,
또 다시 같은 질문을 든지게 된다.
